SecurTrust Kids Club

Teaching children to save money at any age is not just about banking. It’s about building character, learning responsibility, developing skills, and practicing discipline that can be applied to real-life situations. The SecurTrust Kids savings program is designed to encourage a lifetime habit of saving while also teaching an important life skill – responsibility.

Each school year, SecurTrust visits elementary school classrooms throughout the area and presents each child with an activity pack, which includes a SecurTrust piggy bank. When the piggy bank is full, each child is invited to bring the piggy to the credit union to open their very own Kids Club Account. They’ll get to see the coin machine in action, and we’ll add $5 to the balance!
